Kim Michelson and Courtney Richard join us from Honest Game, a technology platform that guides all lacrosse student-athletes through the academic requirements to play college sports, making them more sellable to college coaches recruiting them. Kylie, Kim, and Courtney discuss their athletic journeys, what drew them to the crossroads of athletics and academics, and most importantly, the three discuss the new partnership between KO17 Lacrosse and Honest Game.

Mackenzie Burns

Mackenzie Burns is both a former and current teammate of Kylie’s as the two played together for Stony Brook and continue to do so for Team USA. Mackenzie is also an NYPD police officer and in her first year on the police force, founded the first-ever NYPD women’s lacrosse team. Kylie and Mackenzie discuss their time at Stony Brook and how they’re each working in different ways to bring women’s lacrosse to the next generation. You don’t want to miss this one!

Cory Camp set records as a swimmer for the University of Delaware before founding More than Movement, a community and coaching practice designed to help former athletes maximize their talents in the “real world.” Cory and Kylie talk about their love for coffee and sports and how they’ve grown in the past year outside of their respective sports. 

Rachael DeCecco

Rachael DeCecco is a legend in the game of lacrosse. After winning two national championships at Princeton, she played Team USA before helping start the WPLL. Currently, Rachael heads up the PLL Academy and is an amazing mother of four. Kylie and Rachael discuss what lacrosse means to them, what it takes to play at the highest level, and what they’ve learned along their journeys.
